“Homey, quaint and warm!” - "I've had the pleasure of making two trips to the Bumblebee Inn now! I love the whimsical themes of the rooms and the feeling that I'm right at home. The best part for me would have to be the hospitality and the bonfires! Everything we needed was there and available to us. Thank you Nick for making me feel like a friend the first time we met. We also love walking down the road for dinner and appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and superb food! Well worth the 80-90 steps!!!" - Jorae, Ontario - March 3, 2010

“Relaxed atmosphere, wonderful getaway destination.” - "I have stayed at the Bumble Bee a couple times and can't wait to go back. The rustic atmosphere is relaxing and makes you feel very comfortable. I can't say enough about Nick and his hospitality - Wonderful! The wrap around porch, the fires out back, You feel at home from the moment you step on the porch. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Having a wonderful restaurant walking distance from the Inn is definitely an added bonus. The food and service are the best in the area. I recommend the Bumble Bee to everyone traveling in the area." - Loveny5, Syracuse, NY - March 3, 2010

“Sweet, Quaint, a Second Home!!!” - "What a wonderful sanctuary!! Hummingbirds at the bird feeders hanging on the wrap around porch, a local bear that travels through the area, coyotes howling in the hills at night, sweet rooms with cute themes, and a lovely host.....who could ask for more? A group of friends all gathered at this homey remote spot, just down the road from a great restaurant (walking distance - which is lovely on a star lit night) and not far from the long dirt road that leads to the uniquely remote Stillwater Reservoir and restaurant. Be sure to ask Nick about bonfires in the back yard... a wonderful gathering of guests from around the world found this gem in the Adirondacks!"- Lrain , Massachusetts - February 27, 2010

“Great” - "I heard about the Bumble Bee Inn from a friend, so I booked three rooms for the week. When we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome by Nick and Carol, the owners. They gave us a tour of this charming farmhouse, with a big fireplace in the living room and a nice kitchen which was filled with goodies and hot chocolate for us to enjoy coming in from the cold. Each of the bedrooms had it's own theme. My husband and stayed in the lily pad, which was relaxing shades of green, with curtain rods made of wood tree branches and a big ceramic cute green frog that greeted you at the entrance, my sons stayed in the hunters den which had a rustic hunters setting, and my girls age 10 and 11 stayed in the pig pen which was so adorable all pink and white with a big pink piggy bank on the dresser and stuffed pink pigs on the bed, they loved it. They also had the hen house, and the Queen Bee. The house had a big wrap around front porch and a fire pit to sit and enjoy the beautiful snow while staying toasty. They had sleds and snowmobiles for us to enjoy and the owner even took us on a little tour of the immediate area along with a little history of the inn and the old train station across the way, which is now a restaurant, which was very nice, good food and great prices. My family enjoyed our time there very much, the Bumble Bee Inn offers all you need for a relaxing enjoyable stay, clean rooms, welcoming friendly hosts, snacks and goodies, a great variety of movies, books and games, a wonderful fireplace that was always stocked with plenty of firewood and outdoors activities. We had a great time and we will be back." - LELAJONES , New York - February 25, 2010
