There are many local attractions including hunting, snowmobiling, bird watching, cross country skiing, and ice fishing in the winter.  In the summer there is fishing, boating, swimming, canoeing, safari water park, golfing, hiking and horseback riding, and much more.

We have a variety of the best black bear and white tail dear in the northern zone.  With an early bear hunting season, with weapon of choice, firearm, bow, black powder.  We are located in the NYS DEC Region 6J.  For information about DEC Wildlife Management Areas in region 6, click here.  Directly behind our property is Pigeon Lake Wilderness Area with over 50,000 acres of state land.  We are a short drive to Old Forge and Stillwater & Inlet, and so many more attractions available. Fine dining via the front door.  The are several more restaurants on Big Moose Road. 

There is plenty of opportunities for bird watching right off our wrap around porch.  Eagle Bay, New York is home to birds rarely seen anywhere else.
